Well friends... the World Championships for gymnastics were televised last weekend. Needless to say, I was excited to watch. As a former competitive gymnast, it amazes me how far the sport has come along since my time. The skills they are doing now are things you wouldn't even dream of trying back in my days of glory. I had a blast watching. However, it is known that former gymnasts cannot just watch gymnastics... they must do. It's in our blood. Your body will start moving, and before you know it... you are flipping and twisting around the house. Yes, that was me over the weekend. Every commercial break provided me the opportunity to be a star again. Well, maybe not so much!!! Upon my "transition" into the bedroom, I slammed my foot into the corner of our platform bed. Here's the damage:
Nick and Jamie met in 2005, and were married on July 25, 2009. We live in Spokane, Washington and love it here. However, our families live a little further away - Nick's family in Central Washington, and Jamie's family in Wisconsin (Go Badgers). We finally decided to create a blog so everyone can see a little of what we're always up to.

Spokane Chiefs Season Opener
It's finally hockey season again! Our first home game was against our rivals, the Tri-City Americans. When these two teams get together, you'll never walk away disappointed. We went with some friends from Jamie's work: Marnie and Myk, and Jessica and Garrett. What a great game! We're looking forward to another good season.
Jamie and Marnie... So excited for this game!

Sorry folks, somehow we didn't get any pictures of Nick this time.
Maybe the beard he was growing would have broken the camera?
